- 1981: Rubeus Hagrid rescued baby Harry Potter from the ruins of the Potter Cottage. He, along with Minerva McGonagall and Albus Dumbledore, left baby Harry on the Dursleys' doorstep with a note. Celebrations of Voldemort's downfall happened all over Britain.
