Julian Colin Robotnik, better known as Snively Robotnik, was a member of the Robotnik family. A cunning and treacherous individual, he was allied with different groups at different points of time, not out of loyalty, but to further his own agenda. These groups included the Eggman Empire and Guardian Units of Nations.

Biography

Early Life

Julian Colin Robotnik was born to Colin and Miriam Robotnik on May 13, 1976. His mother died giving birth to him, leaving his father to take care of him with no parenting skills. He was named after his paternal grandfather and father.

Snively was already treacherous from a young age. Whenever he made friends, he would betray them in order to gain an advantage out of the relationship. As a teenager, Snively became interested in technology, and spent more time on that than socializing. As the years went on, Colin could no longer tolerate Snively's antics, and kicked him out of the house. Colin father remarried shortly afterwards and had a daughter named Hope.

Working with His Grandfather

Great War

After he was kicked out of his home, Snively went to live with his equally treacherous grandfather and namesake Julian Robotnik, who had become the dictatorial ruler of Christmas Island not long before. As the war between the Overland and Kingdom of Acorn was going on, Julian and Snively betrayed their home country and allied with the Kingdom of Acorn, although they were planning to betray them once the war was over.

Behind the Scenes

• Snively originates from the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM animated series, where he is not given a full name. In the Pre-Super Genesis Wave Archie Comics, his real name is Colin Kintobor Jr. and in the Post-Super Genesis Wave comics, his name is Julian Snively. These names were combined to make his full name in Star's universe Julian Colin Robotnik.
