Mia Victoria Jenkins (born c. 1973) was a British pure-blood witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1984 to 1991. Unlike most members of the Jenkins family, she was not sorted into Slytherin, but rather into Hufflepuff, the house of her maternal family. She did not know her cousin Elena very well, and was generally not associated with Jacob as much as his sister was. Through her mother, she was related to Amos and Cedric Diggory, although only distantly.
Biography[]
Mia was born in 1972 or 1973 to Arianna and Hamish Jenkins. Her middle name came from her maternal grandmother, Victoria Diggory. When she was 1 or 2 years old, her younger sister, Peyton, was born.
Hogwarts years[]
Mia started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on September 1, 1984, on the same day as her cousin Elena and more distant relative Autumn. She was sorted into Hufflepuff like her mother and many members of the Diggory family. She was in the same house and year as Penny Haywood, Chiara Lobosca, Nymphadora Tonks, Jeffrey Rivera and Diego Caplan, but was not close friends with any of them.
During her time at Hogwarts, she did not talk to her cousin Elena much, and was not involved in the search for the Cursed Vaults. While she knew her cousin was involved in the search, she didn't know much more than the average student. Out of all Core Classes, she and Elena only shared Herbology (and possibly Astronomy) classes. She was also not associated with Jacob as much as Elena was due to the fact that they were only cousins rather than siblings and Mia was also sorted into a different house.
Mia was in her third year when her younger sister Peyton started Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin.
Mia showed an interest in food and likely learned food-related charms by the end of her fifth year.
Personality[]
Mia was a generally kind and good-hearted person, explaining why the Sorting Hat decided to put her into Hufflepuff.
Behind the Scenes[]
- She is based on a randomly generated leaderboard NPC in Star's game of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. However, in late May 2019, her name changed to Victoria Jenkins, which is where her middle name comes from.
