Argus Filch was a Squib who worked as the Caretaker at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the late 20th century. He disliked chaos and made sure to punish any misbehaving students. He often walked around the school with his cat Mrs Norris.
Biography[]
Argus Filch was born to at least one magical parent at some point in the 1950s or earlier. He was a Squib, meaning he was unable to use magic. He still remained living with the wizarding community.
At some point in the late 1960s or early 1970s, Filch started working at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as the new Caretaker, replacing Apollyon Pringle.
